Australia vs Pakistan Preview: Australia face the Pakistan challenge on Friday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. While the Australians come into the match with a win against Sri Lanka, Pakistan suffered a comprehensive defeat to India in their last match. Pakistan won their first matches, against the Netherlands and Sri Lanka, but the defeat against India have exposed their faults.
Neither the batters nor the bowlers were able to make a mark against India and in such a scenario, Pakistan will be looking to bounce back immediately before the campaign descends into more chaos. They also had some issues with six players suffering from illness, but Hasan Ali confirmed on the eve of the game that most of them have recovered.
Meanwhile, Australia started their campaign with two successive defeats, against India and South Africa, before finding a win against Sri Lanka. For Australia also the problem has been lackluster performance from their batters and bowlers, but batting has been a bigger worry. Names like David Warner and Steve Smith are still to find their form in the World Cup.
