The 19th Asian Games is on the verge of reaching its conclusion, with just two more events to go at Hangzhou.

India’s medal tally stands at 86 at the end of Day 12, and the nation will hope to go past the 100-medal mark by the time the closing ceremony takes place at the Hangzhou Olympic Stadium this Sunday.

The biggest event on Friday for the Indian contingent will be the men’s hockey gold medal match against Japan, with the Harmanpreet Singh-led Indian team strong favourites to finish on top of the podium.

India will also be competing in the semi-finals in men’s cricket (against Bangladesh), men’s kabaddi (against Pakistan) as well as in men’s singles (HS Prannoy) and doubles (Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty) in badminton.
