India found the momentum eary on which was set by Ishan Kishan and they continued it right through the match. Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma set the platform with a 111-run opening stand. And then Shreyas Iyer came in and provided finishing touches with fireworks, hitting 57 off 28 balls. It propeled India to 199/2. 

Sri Lanka got off to a poor start, losing Nissanka off the first ball of the innings and it kept going downhill for them from then on. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals and never found the momentum. In the end, they fell 62 runs short. The Indian bowlers were clever with their pace variations and disciplined as well.

A nice disciplined over from Bumrah despite the fact that he conceded a FOUR off the last ball. He ramped up good pace and found some seam movement as well. After three singles off five balls, he drops one short, Asalanka upper cuts it to third man for FOUR. 7 off the over.

Mishara then gets an outside edge and Venkatesh Iyer drops it at point. But a ball later, Bhuvneshwar gets his man as Mishara hits one straight to mid-wicket. 3 runs and a wicket off the over.

What a start from Bhuvneshwar. He found a hint of swing. The first one stayed a touch low and got the wicket of Nissanka. One induced slight outside edge which flew over point off Liyanage's bat for a FOUR. A last two are dots and one of them beat Liyanage's outside edge. 6 runs and a wicket off the over.
