- This is the second year of IPL tournament. And the final played between Royal Challanger Bangalore (RCB) vs Deccan Charges (DC). At the Johannesburg.
DC open for the batting first and create a score 143/6 at 20 overs.
RCB is not achieving the 144 target the RCB batting scoreboard is 137/9 at 20 overs.
And DC win the match by 6 runs. And the IPL 2009 trophy. And their first IPL trophy.

- This is the 3rd edition of IPL tournament. And the final played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) vs Mumbai Indians (MI). At Mumbai.
CSK open the batting first and create a score 168/5 at 20 overs.
The MI open for chase the target 166 runs. But the MI teams create a score only
146/9 at 20 overs. And the CSK won the match by 22 runs.
This is third trophy in the IPL tournament. And it is first for CSK.
